| Latest on Kayla My husband took Kayla in to the vet this morning for her x-rays and it did show CT. She has a little spot in her neck, but not bad. The vet said getting her weight down will help alot. THe other vet stopped in because we have used them for years and was curious why she was there. He said he had a lady that has been bringing in her pom for years that has CT and he has told her and told her to get the weight off. He said they still haven't but the little pom has survived alot of years. We are going to really work on getting her back down to 5lbs. She also did alot better with me not going for some reason. They took her straight back to a room and dh had to leave her for 2hrs. because they were so busy. He said when they brought her out she was calm as could be until she seen him and then here we go again. But when he brought her home it wasn't the whole hr. thing of getting her calmed down. I just thank God because I had really prayed for her. We love our babies so much. |

| My first yorkie had CT. The vet told me the same thing - weight control. He also said to keep her body temp even - don't let her get too hot- or let her get too excited about things. She lived until 13 (never was suggested the surgery I have seen some have on this site). Good luck to you. I hope you also have many more years with your little one. |

| Thank you so much for the encourgement. Surgery is scary. I have read some bad things about this surgery. We are going to get her weight down and she doesn't really like to go outside so keeping her cool will be easy. She just gets soooo excited about things. She did so much better with me not going this morning. We did not know why she had such a hard time last week and with the temp. thing. But, it was like she didn't know why I was there. DH has had to take them because I am still walking on a walker from sugeries I am trying to recoupe from. So, last week she just didn't understand why her mommy was there. There is no way I can take them by myself. I am so glad it wasn't bad. I just worried, and worried until I had nearly made myself sick over her. But, again, God is good and I know He will watch after our little munchkins. |

| Sophie Kate also has CT, the weight and proper exercise is key for her. Sophie Kate has had since she was 6 months old and she is now almost 3. We also exercise with a lot of walks, at least 2 30 minute walks per day but if it too hot we go in the evening (she does not handle the heat well at all). Excitement will cause some problems also but not everytime.
