| ![]() I have done it myself once or twice. Many other grown men have also. She should stop. Just keep her away from the sound of Heavy Artillery and Rockets. |

| ![]() You may have to be more specific: What is scaring her? Or is it excitement peeing? For that you minimize getting her excited, or for being scared, I would minimize exposure to things/situations that cause her fear. Be careful, Yorkies go through stages when growing up, and bad experiences can cause permanent behavioral traits. I have a copy of the file somewhere... I'll post it when I find it..

| ![]() maybe its excitment peeing... She has dribbled pee when our other dog will bark (i thought see might be scared but hes not barking at her). Also I have seen her do the same when she is let out of her area. I praise her when she uses her litter box... I learned to wait til I seen she was done otherwise she would be in mid stream and get excited and run out of her box ![]()

| ![]() My girl Bella use do that too when she was a puppy...she would tinkle a little when she got real excited...usually when I came home from somewhere...she doesn't do it anymore...she out grew it when she was like 8 mos old...At 12 weeks old they can't hold there pee very long at all...once they get older they are able to control it better. But you might wanna take her to the Vet to rule out UTI...that way you know its the excitement for sure...once I found out it wasn't a UTI, I let her settle down a bit before I went over to greet her and take her out of her play yard to go outside to potty.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Here's a good article on submissive urination. It's pretty common in young puppies, but you can make it worse if you yell at her. Dogs and Submissive/Excitement Urination - Fixing Submissive/Excitement Urination in Dogs

When she first comes out of her area, tone down your greeting a bit and get her on a peepad. Or greet her on a peepad in her area before letting her out, that way you'll know if it's your greeting or the act of being let out that is causing the problem. Sometimes direct eye contact can trigger it also, so try averting your gaze upon greeting her. Many dogs will outgrow this, but it won't hurt to try to gain some control over it, just don't punish or scold her for it, as she cannot help it.

| ![]() As stated in another's post; this is submissive urination. There are ways do correct this and would be best to speak to your vet.

| ![]() Armani has this problem, I have mostly controlled it by ignoring him when I come home, calling him to his pad when I sense he is nervous, etc. It still happens every once and awhile though. The most important thing is to act like it didn't happen, I don't yell at him or coddle him and tell him it's ok. I just pretend it didn't happen, call him to a different location and go clean up.
