| PLEASE HELP! Need a Dog Car Seat?? Does anyone know where I can purchase a dog car seat. My babygirl doesn't keep still and she runs from one window to another. Once she almost jumped out because I had the window too far down. I tried an harnest car seat but she wiggles her way out..head first...she's smart. She's very small and I am concern of her while I am driving...can anyone help me here? |

| I don't know what you have available where you live but you can probably find something online. I personally have a couple of Snoozer carseat and love them. I have the smaller one as well as a medium sized one. You will get a tether strap to attach to her harness to keep her in the seat. She may still try to get out of it but at least she is tethered in. some people put the seat in the rear seat but I am fortunate that the front passenger air bag will not deploy in my vehicle so mine is in my front seat. If you search Snoozer carseat, I am sure you can get a link to it.

| I have a different kind that works well. They really are helpful to have. Kaji likes to sit right by the clutch while in the car. That doesn't last long. He is immediately placed inhis car seat. I think YT member Capt_Noonie sells one similar to what I have.

| I made my own car seat(well my 17 year old sister did) out of a milk crate. it fastens in securely and i did not pay much and i like the high strong sides of the milk crate to protect him. he lays in the bottom so if we had a wreak he would be protected from flying out of the car seat and dangling by his harness (unless the car was upside down) and he is protected from flying debris and being jerked around too much. I could not find one that i liked that was strong and secure so we created one.

| I have a Lookout one like this..... Pet Console Car Seat for Small Dogs It sits on my center console so she can look out and still be tethered in. Tatum LOVES it! I had an accident with my 8 week old toy poodle in the car with me about 22 years ago or so. Rolled the car about 5 times. The cause.... Dax running back and forth on the seat and in my lap. Very scary. Non-dog lover people sometimes think it's silly when they see it but I usually have them convinced very quickly. I highly recommend car seats for all pet owners. Even big dogs can (and should) be tethered to a seat belt.

| Another vote for Snoozer - we love Levi's seat! We have the smaller size.

| I have a lookout 2, Tali loves it. We travel a lot with her and we like the little drawer it has. We keep extra food, treats and her leash in it. It is handy for potty stops. We got ours at theuncommondog.com

| Ziva has a snoozer also. She wears her regular harness and just clips to the seatbelt attachment, really safe and easy. Seems kind of pricey but think of it as a one time investment... |
