We were at the dog park and a 'Puggle' was howling and Jackson was staring at him, like studying what he was doing and all the sudden, he lifted his head back and started howling too. 3. to go visit Daddy at work....
4. his heart is breaking like when we leave Daddy's work and he wants to stay...

Tila howls quite often. It's the funniest thing, she sounds like Mr. Magoo. Well, at least I call it her Mr. Magoo howl. You know that sheep dog on 101 dalmations when they're doing the twilight bark. That's exactly what she sounds like.

One night Peek a Boo fell sound asleep on a pile of laundry (his favorite haunt) and I was (where else) on YT and watching the TV. All of a sudden I hear this noise and I'm thinking, 'What the heck is that? I'm not watching Animal Planet!' So I look around and I see his silhouette, just like a mini wolf howling at the moon. Lips pursed. head up howling away.

We had just added 3 females to the clan, and I figure he was either calling for help, or claiming them! Too funny. That was last year, he just turned 14 years old in December!

Yes Macy does this too. When the phone rings she will go to the phone closest to where she is and put her head back and howl away until someone answers it. I tried it with my cell phone and she did the same thing. Maybe she is expecting an important call.

My little Cricket would sometimes howl when I would go out the door and leave her, but never when finding a hiding place for a toy - too cute! I would also love to see it if you could tape it!

Funny you ask this. Darwin is two years old in three days and last night he was sleeping on my lap. He lifted his head, let out this loud howl and then put his head back down. Must have been having a great dream. This is the first time I ever heard him howl - very strange!

My guys howl on occation, when they are put away in a room for a short time. I find it so sad... it's their way of telling us we're here and we can't find you! But there are rare instances where you need to keep them closed in for their own good.

Yes!! My little Remy has just started doing that but it's like she is trying to tell me something she looks up at me and starts to howl like she is talking, I have tried to get her to do it on command but she won't only when she has something to say.... it's the cutest thing ever..

Buster will howl occassionally. It almost sounds like a cat yowl at times. The first time we heard it we were wondering if it even came out of Buster. We were laughing so hard I think he got upset we were making fun of him he gave a little harumpf and walked away. But he has done it a few times. It is really funny with the head tilt and when he starts there is no sound at first and then it builds..very cute...very funny. My own little mini wolf!
