| Yorkie. Most people understand that. I think because it is easier. I may start saying Yorkshire Terrier just to see the reactions.

| I actually use both. Most of the time I don't have to say either because people will ask is he a Yorkie?

| If they have to ask I don't think the know the difference between the terms Yorkie and Yorkshire Terrier. I've had a few see the pups and say "oh you have Rottweiler puppies..." I say, "no they're Yorkies, they just look like rotts when puppies, they will change...oh never mind..." lol
