| Some of the reasons you love Yorkies so much? When Jazz & I decided to move into a pet-friendly comm. I said I wanted a dog finally. Jazz had met her friends yorkie-poo & fell in love so I searched & researched and loved what I found out about the breed. I love: their size, even a "big" one is very manageable. they do not shed their independent personalities, to name a few. How about you? What drove you to welcome a Yorkie into your life?

| Charlie was a surprise Valentine's Day present from my boyfriend, and I know what influenced him to get a Yorkie was the small size (we live in a four-plex apartment) and the hair. Since we've had Charlie, we've definitely fallen in love with the distinctive Yorkie personality -- so cute and sassy! |

| My parents had 2 yorkies before they had kids so they remind me of my Barney and Chelsea. (Chelsea was THE best dog ever) They are beautiful, spunky, intelligent, loving dogs. Just looking at their sweet yorkie faces makes me smile They are portable. They are completely devoted to their family. And as a bonus... yorkies don't leave tumbleweeds of hair all over the house every Spring like other dogs do!!!

| The first time I saw one, I thought they were cutest dogs I have ever seen (saw one at a dog show)! I love that they are so loving towards their family, yet have the spunk of a terrier. I also like how they seem to have a sense of humor - mine have always done silly antics to get me to laugh - so human-like! |

| I wasn't really looking for a yorkie when Charlee came into my life. Her personality won me over in a heart beat. She is so excited to go out and go go go...she is very intelligent, "talks" to you to communicate what she wants, and everyone is her friend! And though I never thought I would say this...I actually enjoy playing with her hair... putting in bows, ties, and just the beautiful soft silky feel of it when she snuggles. |

| I wasn't planning on getting a pet, then I saw a picture of my Chloe, and was love a 1st sight, I researched about the breed and everything, but I never thought the welcoming them into my house was going to make such a HUGE difference in my life... I suffer from depression but ever since my 2 little divas got here, they keep me happy... Their Spunky personalities (they think they are rottwielers) have me in stitches all the time.... I didnt know i could love and animal so much.... They are a major part of my life!

No Longer a Member | Their personality, even though Rizzo is a shy pup, I still get to see that tough terrier spirit. Not to mention how clownish he is, he can always get me do giggle. Everytime I see him carting around his full sized tennis ball I chuckle. He hates the small dog sized balls, lol, he has a little mans complex and I adore it, lol. What drove me to him was the (as another poster said) tumbleweeds of cat fur I get to see every Spring, Summer, and it even carries into Fall, lol. I wanted a dog that wouldn't shed, or shed minimally, and that was small in size. Besides, what other dog can you wake up cuddling and giggle when you realize it's not their head but their lower back that is so dangerously close to your face? |

| Those eyes!!! Those depthless chocolate brown love filled eyes. They won me over in 2 seconds flat and have kept me in love for almost 6 years!

| I have always been a poodle person,Im a new convert. When Bunkey passed away I knew that I wanted another baby all my own. My next choise has always been a yorkie. I love their coats, they dont shed, they have such sweet faces. As a friend of mine that has two yorkies says,"ya just want to smoochie them". They are small, smart and I get to play dress up. I was going to wait until this summer for a new baby, but then I saw this,oh so sweet, face in a picture here on YT and fell in love. Monday I get to pick Mina up!!! I have been getting her things ready and honestly I dont remember being this excited in a long time. Cannt wait to snuggle and play with her. Its gonna be a loooooong weekend. |

| Everything really..I love that they don't shed....those beautiful eyes, their stocky little bodies/size...and most of all their personality. I have been around Yorkies for 26 years now. I lived 4 house down from my breeder for 13 years...we became good friends, I fell madly in love with her Yorkies...11 years later I got my first Yorkie Bailey in 1996, 12 years later in 2008 I got my Bella and in 2010 I got my Harley. There will never be another breed for me...Yorkies are the best!!!

| I love the Yorkie attitude! They are so sweet and loving but can be so fierce and focues when they are on task. And they question authority not a few times during the day! I love that fuzzy little face staring back defiantely at me when I am telling Tibbe to do something he disagrees with on principle. He is very obedient and well-behaved but if I do something that runs afoul of his sense of "right", he lets me know it! He usually is right and he usually wins in these cases.

| I love Yorkies because they have such a great fun personality in a tiny package. I need very portable dogs with my lifestyle, they need to easily slip into a bag and go under an airline seat, or comfortably get belted in the backseat of my car. Yorkies fit that criteria easily. However, they are also so much fun, they are active and friendly, enjoy going for walks or for a run at the park.
