He's probably in the clear though, since he's so close to the 1yr mark and already such a 'big boy'. He probably doesn't have much growing left to do!

It's *mainly* for larger breed dogs where it's more important. You can start agility foundations very early on though.. like 1" or 2" jumps, etc.

Brit have you investigated the dock diving?

It is an all time blast, humans and dogs have a great time. Plus it is super great for pups with LP or HD etc. Soft on the joints, great cardio, and fun all wrapped up in one little event.

Our first time we went to Kalamazoo Michigan cause there was an event there. I ran into some BRT folks who were showing in UKC and were yeah, Gail is competing here, and I said well whoops nope, but I'll see the conformation rings, but we are here to do dock diving!. They all thought I was nuts. Travelling staying overnight just to do dock diving. Well we had about a dozen or so jumps over 4-5 hrs it was really busy. When we got back to our motel, Magic was so tired he fell asleep immediately

Water sun, toys laughter what could be a better day.

I did get your link you sent me and am VERY interested. Jackson would have an absolute blast.

There is a competition in Adamstown, MD on April 16-17 but that's too soon, I think. I'm not even sure where Adamstown is, LOL. I'll keep an eye out though!

Edit -- I found one right in Stevensville!!! That's right where my dad lives.

Karen, excellent job on constructing the jump, Way to go Cooper and Max on the jumping!

I have a collapsible tunnel that I bought from the Target for $15. It is 6 feet long and intended for kids, but it works for the doggies.

Looking forward to your expanded set up this summer. You will have the only agility course that ends with a dive into the pool.

I wouldn't make it any higher for Buster and I'm not even sure if he should be jumping. What about making a little course for him to weave through? He may enjoy that.

I'm not sure what the height is but it's not very high. He loves the weaves and the tunnel. Jumping through the tire thing is out of the question for him or Maggie.

That is awesome Karen, I love watching yorkies do those jumps. I have a dog park by my house and they have a little agility course, Well I took Pnut one day and I tried to get him to do it and I put him on one of the long tall ones, that looks like this /----/ lol kinda, well he looked at me like "and what is it you want me to do" haha It was funny!!

Thanks so much for the brilliant idea! My husband loved it also! He followed your plans and made two for our little Gidget! I will try to get some pics of them posted... thank you, thank you!!
