There is much more to the 12 week timeframe. More time with mother, pup is eating well on it's own (they do go off food when transition to a new home, hyperglycemia). The pup has had proper vetting and a minimum of two vaccinations. Socializing with litter mates is a must too.....

All the shopping for them, stocking up on necessities and luxuries, picking a name and reading up on training and behavior are all such fun when the payoff is a tiny little furball full of love, sweetness and attitude. If you haven't had the pleasure of a Yorkie baby before, hang on and hold tight as it will be a fun and interesting ride over the next many years. You are about to fall in love.

Congrats!! It is sooo exciting! Seems like just yesterday, for me. My lil' boy will be 1-year old next month!!
