I talked to the other vet regarding giving him Anipryl that Bon Bon has generously offered me and I asked her what the powder was that His other vet mentioned and it was the Epakitin. I will ask them next week when I get back about the Aluminum Hydroxide. His BUN went form 36 to 31 and his Creatinine went to 1.9 from 1.7. So I want to do whatever we can to slow down the progression.

You are in much better shape with Nikki than we were with Gizzy. His initial values were BUN 160 and Creatinine 10.8. His values were almost normal when he passed but we did tons of research, hand fed, syringed water, measured everything and kept a journal of when he got what. Gizzy was an amazing being! He fought as hard to stay as we did to keep him here.
