We also gave Gizmo Azodyl; another supplement which did not harm but not sure if it helped either. Anything that can keep the phosphorous and anemia in check is what is needed. We did tons of research online and afterwards stuck with what seemed best for Gi. Do not give the Epakitin and Aluminum Hydroxide Powder gel at the same time. Also your vet may not have the AlumHydrox. We had to special order it from Home page - Thriving Pets .

Please let me know if you need anything else. Hugs to you both♥
Thanks so much for the info. I talked to the other vet regarding giving him Anipryl that Bon Bon has generously offered me and I asked her what the powder was that His other vet mentioned and it was the Epakitin. I will ask them next week when I get back about the Aluminum Hydroxide. His BUN went form 36 to 31 and his Creatinine went to 1.9 from 1.7. So I want to do whatever we can to slow down the progression.
