| Thank Goodness for my Yorkchop! True Love We've not posted for a while. Three weeks ago my baby had a nasty reaction to a nasal vaccine. Took her back to vets immediately. Perscription for pills for the cough. Found out my dad (84) fell and broke his hip. We jumped into the car and drove 500 miles to help mom (82) prepare house for his comming home from convelescent center (more like a dirty jail). Meanwhile, TicTac got progressively worse. My sister recommended a local vet. Perscription for antibiotics. Took two weeks but she's her old self again. Convelescent center let me take TicTac to see daddy twice a day. She of course became the darling of the center. People came up and asked if we would visit with wives, grammas, etc. One nite before we "sprung" my dad out, a youngish woman came up to me and asked if I would let TicTac visit with her father. He was in a very bad way. TicTac tiptoed up the old mans side and layed her little head on his shoulder while the daughter helped him pet her. As we left his room together, she took my arm and asked if I had seen his face. She said it was the first time he'd smiled since he'd arrived. I gave her a big hug, so did TicTac. The next day when my mama and I broke my dad out of the place, I found out the old man Tic had visited the night before had passed away in his sleep. Thank God for Yorkies. They are truly little miracles. Even though you can't see their little wings, if you listen closley, you will hear them rustle a little. Wishing everyone a Yorkie day, TicTac and Deni.

| Such a beautiful story. I know God must have been smiling the day He made Yorkies!

| I belonged to a group that took their dogs to nursing homes. Macy of course was the smallest dog and I always dressed her up. Whenever we would walk in all the people would wave their hands and want to pet the "one in the dress". One Saturday we went to a nursing home and Macy went in and sat between the feet of an elderly man and layed her head on his shoe and I couldn't get her away from him. Macy never sits still so this caught my attention and gave me goose bumps because I had heard dogs have instincts and may know when a person is ready to pass away. I didn't get this elderly man's name but the next time we went in he had passed away. I don't know how soon after we were there but it gave me an eerie feeling. I still remember how she layed her head on his shoe and just stared at him and he just sat there petting her. It was almost like they had a silent connection. SPOOKY!!!

| Was the vaccine she was given the Bordetella? Mine were all effected by given it through the nose. I asked them to make a notation that all my dogs get it through a shot instead. Glad everything is on the upward swing for you. |

| I work in a nursing home and see their faces light up when a dog comes in. Many times we notice some who have shown no emotions or expressions until then and its truly amazing. I have brought my girls in a few times but my girls are "anti" social, they only like our family and prolly my fault. My new little one will be better socialized especially at my work from day one as these little guys bring so much joy with them wherever they go!!
