I belonged to a group that took their dogs to nursing homes. Macy of course was the smallest dog and I always dressed her up. Whenever we would walk in all the people would wave their hands and want to pet the
"one in the dress". One Saturday we went to a nursing home and Macy went in and sat between the feet of an elderly man and layed her head on his shoe and I couldn't get her away from him. Macy never sits still so this caught my attention and gave me goose bumps because I had heard dogs have instincts and may know when a person is ready to pass away.
I didn't get this elderly man's name but the next time we went in he had passed away. I don't know how soon after we were there but it gave me an eerie feeling. I still remember how she layed her head on his shoe and just stared at him and he just sat there petting her. It was almost like they had a silent connection. SPOOKY!!!
