| My baby boy Max is 10 months old and weighs about 13.5 pounds. He is really tall, long and skinny. I believe that having the square shape in a Yorkie is desirable, however I'm also fairly certain that 13 pounds is not! But it is to me. Here are some photos of my lanky one. His legs go on forever. I also just remembered I created a thread when he was 13 weeks old. Wow, he was already long then!

| Whether a Yorkie is a small 4 lbs or a big 14 lbs, they are supposed to be square proportionally, with their height at the shoulders and hips equal to the distance between the shoulder and hips. I have two Yorkzillas (12 and 14 lbs) that are also "square."

YT 1000 Club Member | The AKC Breed Standard (for showing) is from 5 to 7 Pounds. But, that's where it ends !!! I've seen numbers for Yorkies ranging from a few ounces, to over 20 pounds, with DNA/Papers to prove PB's. But, when you get down to it, PB, Square, Papers, Blood Line.... it SO doesn't matter !

| We have a big boy too! Our big boy Bandit is 11 months and almost 16lbs. He looks so big compared to his sister Jinx but she is catching up too! At 18 weeks she is 6.79 lbs already. |
