Nothing happened to Carmel. He have been totally fine. Thank goodness. From now on, I will be more cautious to never let this happen again!

I don't think you had anything to worry about...

That stuff is SO noxious, that if he had gotten even
one drop in his mouth, he would have bolted away
from it as quick as he could.

Glad everything is okay, consider this in the future:

Pyrethrum, the ingredient found in many flea control products, also kills ants. To increase the killing power, mix 1 tbsp. of rubbing alcohol into a commercial pyrethrum spray.
