| BTW -- I wanted to make sure you know I am not sticking up for this breeder at all -- I would pass just because of her shipping a 10 week old puppy. (I keep seeing images in my mind of that little one shivering and shaking in the cargo hold today, scared out of its little mind at the noise and lack of human contact!) I just wanted to make the point of which things should really be the major concern -- the puppy's welfare and not the frequency of daily phone calls.

He had a caring lady waiting by his side the entire time. She hand delivered him once I arrived at the airport.

| Baby Niko home! So glad I checked before shutting the laptop and found that your wait is over and Niko is home! Thank goodness and how exciting to have your new baby. Have a wonderful weekend though you probably won't get much rest! Ha! Tibbe and I send hugs for baby Niko. I pray he lights up your life as Yorkies are want to do!

| Glad to hear he has arrived safely! I would love to hear about this airline that transports the pups in the cabin. Was the lady by his side an airline employee or someone who paid for their ticket to ride along? This would be a great service if offered by the airline and quite an improvement over what normally happens if not escorted by someone. Would love to hear the details!! Please let us know the airline!

| Glad to hear it...if things work out hope you could recommend the breeder to everyone here...finding a good breeder is hard those who are ethical, responsible, product quality, healthy pups should be talked about as much as the adverse...

And of course I was worried about the condition of the pup...why else would I call her for a weekly update? Ask about how she is socializing him with various "types" of people. (Women, men, children, etc.) Why else would I ask about the feeding schedule and type of food, and shot records, and vet visits. I CARE...if I didn't I wouldn't waste time searching yorkietalk about various information...there would be no point. Yes, the pup came at 10 weeks but I am not going to reject the pup that I fell in love with to run away from the breeder b/c of a 2 week difference. If she didn't want him of course I will take him. There are plenty of people that have gotten pups @ 8 wks. I shouldn't be the "bad guy" because of my breeders decision. And as far as priorities are concerned...please don't disrespect me by saying they are misplaced. YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE...YOU WOULDN'T KNOW ME IF I WALKED UP AND SHOOK YOUR HAND. That was rude, and for someone to be so highly regarded on YT, that took me by surprise. I pray you well, not sure if I will continue to be on this site, I have done nothing wrong to deserve talk like that, and hurt my feelings, it did. But I can assure you regardless of my status here, Niko will be well taken care of. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN SO SUPPORTIVE AND HELPFUL INCLUDING FIDebra. I TRULY APPRECIATE IT!

| MylovelyNiko, Deb means well, she and I definitely got off on the wrong foot too. Sometimes personalities and ways of expressing thoughts and opinions can be taken and meant in very different ways...IMHO...a lot of reactions like that come from people reading a lot of posts like this and knowing how they sometimes end... It's unfortunate, but I think if you (and I personally really hope you do!) stick around here long enough you'll find you read the OP statement often and you already know how it's going to end (it shouldn't be like that but often it is) it's rare you see things unfold with a "non-typical outcome" That's such a horrid thing to say! I was on here about a year and some before I ever posted...and you really see the same thing over and over after awhile-it's a pleasant surprise to see things turn out well for everyone! So glad they did for you!

Congratulations on lil Niko arriving safely . Please don't let a bad post or two scare you away. There's a lot to be learned here and most people are pretty helpful and friendly. Would love to see pics of Niko. My puppy is 15 weeks old & already getting big. They grow fast & take alot of work, but the puppy stage is so much fun!!!

| I am so sorry for You and Your situation. And in a way I understand Your feelings. I'm sure things will work outonce You get Your Puppy and He's healthy and I'm sure He's going to be so happy in a Home who loves Him as much as You already do. My Only concern is He's being taken from His mother early. But only because My Little Mitsi came to Me at just seven or eight weeks after She was born. I was a first time Yorkie buyer and I did not know anybetter. But all I knew is I picked Her up and She looked at Me like We were supposed to Meet and I had to have Her. She is still a little tricky learning to potty in the right places and She Loves other Dogs but Her socal skills arnt the best. But She is improving so its possiable to correct the early seperation. I wish You all the best and am super excited to see pictures of Nicco when You get Him!! |

| Need Some Assistance I am trying to upload the photos of Aniko to YT but can't. It says that it exceeds the limit but I really don't know what I should do to reduce the size. I have a Mac and the photos are in my iPhoto App, if that makes a difference.
