Senior Yorkie Talker | Belly Band Success Rates I am moving into a new house at the end of April and as of right now I have been using puppy patches and puppy pads. I will be putting a fenced in back yard at the new house and wanted to know until I get the fence up how does the belly bands work. I want to start training them to go outside. What I am tring to ask that how do they work. and any advice would help. |

A pee pad along with supervised outdoor trips to potty would be my suggestion.. Maybe the potty patch (you can later put it outside to re-assocate the location of the potty spot since you will relocating it) would be ideal for you.

| I have been using belly bands for about 28 years. I love them. Romeo uses them because he will mark if he thinks he needs to. It is very aggravating. But what do you do. He will let me know if he has to potty, but if someone walks by the house with a dog, he marks. He is a rescue, and the only male so he marks. I have used them on any male that comes into my house. I change his pad when ever it gets wet so he has no problem with any rashes or anything like that. I wash his belly off with mild soapy water and dry it. He has no problem wearing them. I say lets put your pants on and he walks over to me. I often say I can not imagine what it would smell like in here if he did not wear one. Oh My....Not good. If you are looking to purchase any Bo.. MOM to Hot Rod makes them and they are the best you can buy. She does an excellent job. They are made to order, so you will have to let her know what the waist size is. They are very nicely made. wash up great in hot water and after washing them about 20 or more times they still look like they are brand new. They have elastic so when he lifts his leg the urine does not drip out. She also does the girlie panties. She is the greatest. She is in the process of making all 5 of mine matching harness /dresses with matching leashes for the girls and Romeo a harness that is the same color as the girls but opposite colors. I can not wait to see them. They will be wearing them in this years picture.
