A belly band is meant to be used to prevent marking not as a diaper...
A pee pad along with supervised outdoor trips to potty would be my suggestion..
Maybe the potty patch (you can later put it outside to re-assocate the location of the potty spot since you will relocating it) would be ideal for you.
