Usually I get more of a reaction to how cute they are than the fact that they are in a stroller. I have encountered one or two snide comments that were mumbled for me not to hear, but I have great hearing.

One time, I was waiting by the front doors of a store while my sister was paying for her items and she overheard the ladies behind her saying something smart about me up front. She turned around and said that my dogs were better behaved than the kids that were in the store who happened to be screaming bloody murder. lol

why they do that I mean it's not hurting anyone, so why does it bother some people

I've had from a lady thanking me for being thoughtful and not dragging my little girl for blocks even when she's tired to a lady asking me in a bad manner why do we insist on treating our babies like 'real children.' I got so disgusted that time, I answered rudely, " DUH! BECAUSE WE CAN." Ugh! Envy, is so boring.

ha, ha, ha. I guess people don't understand that little dogs are not the same as big dogs. It's so much easier when you are by yourself and you have more than 1.

I will sometimes take my stroller on our walks in the neighborhood. It's a mile from my house to the front of my neighborhood, so it's really 2 miles round trip, and when it's really warm out, I bring the stroller so in case they get hot, I put them in it. I like the walking for me and this way they can be with me while I am doing something good for myself.

Wow, long walk . My walk is up and down hills (I live in the mountains) so carrying both of them (17 lbs) up the hill is terrible on my back. Nini's lazy, she walks a little bit and than she starts scratching at the stroller or just lays on the ground and refuses to move, her way of letting me know she's ready to be chauffeured around .

Also, I have tested the ground in the summer with my bare feet and it's really hot some times, no wonder they want up and off the floor

There are many good reasons to have a stroller when you have little ones, I can't think of any negative

I have enjoyed reading all of the opinions on pet strollers. I have looked at several,but not found one that I like. I have carried our small dogs in a baby sling,not a dog sling. I used to carry my children in this sling so it is an old friend. If your babies are small enough you could probably put two in the same sling. Noone is going to put their hand on your baby because it is in your personal space. It works great in crowds because they are right there in front of you,where you can put your hand to protect.
The only time this doesn't work well is if you are going to be outside in the summer time,,,Texas heat is tuff.
