On a related note- sometimes you get some pretty hilarious ads popping up based on something someone writes in a thread. I've even had a v*i*a*g*r*a (obscuring the word because I don't want the ad to pop up again!) ad show up on a page where somebody was talking about mating

| When I see pups like this, extra small with short limbs and bulging heads, I believe they are breeding dogs with achondroplasia (dwarfism). Those poor pups.

| That's crazy they look like they have open fontanels and hydrocephalus. Why or why do people breed for these tiny babies it's ridiculous.

If it was nasty don't paste it here a potty mouth can get ya in trouble with YT mods and admin...but this was the idea to get people well not so much nasty (behind the back high five) but to send them correspondence...maybe a change can be made. I see some people here are familiar with these ladies...they apparently have a history of "teacup" breeding and trying to create extremely undersized dogs as a 'new' standard...their current breeding goal is dog at a full maturity of 1 1/2 pounds but I have seen online they work with some other breeder attempting dog under 1 lb at maturity...just sickening. Someone mentioned by inbreeding is this the whole "3 pure generations" thing...ya know what...I don't even want to know...I'm ill to my stomach over this enough already.

| Seriously, what is desirable about a 1 1/2 lbs. full grown dog? Why do some people want that? |

| I remember that website now but just took a peek before and was sick. Today I watched part of that "Yuki" video and cringed. I wonder how many females and puppies she loses during pregnancy/whleping/infancy and wonder how many of her sold dogs make it to even 3 years old? I'll bet the dog death rate related to that business would break your heart, not to mention those that live with terrible health problems. |

| ok...im going to be completely honest here...When I first started seaching for a yorkie, i was ill informed and just plain ignorant. I wanted a TINY BABY...I didnt care the expense, just wanted a tiny one. I DID NOT do any research on the breed, just thuoght yorkies were sooo cute. I googled teacups and Micro....everyhting you DONT do! I found a website offering two babies that were to be 2 pounds full grown. I drove 10 hours to pick up the feamle baby. When I got there, someone had beat me to her and her little brother was left. He was soooo little at 10 weeks. I fell in love. Today, Bevo is 2 1/2 years old. He stayed small (under 1 pound) until after he was a year old. Today, he weighs a big 4.5 pounds. I am so thankful he didnt stay teeny as he was "money back guaranteed to be". I now know how horrible this is. He is actually EXACTLY the size I had always dreamed of if not smaller. I cannot imagine owning a 2 pound dog. He is sooo very little even now. But, what I am getting at, is I can see the appeal to the other ignorant people out there. I was willing to pay anything for my dream dog...now I know better. I just wish there was a way to educate the public potential yorkie moms and dads of what a terrible mistake they may be making by buying these pitifull pups. I got lucky....too many more will not!
