Random question about excess skin

That skin is completely normal. Most dogs have extra skin that you can pull up. Morgan is 5 and I can still pull up a lot of skin all along her body. Some dogs just have more skin then others.

Aw thanks Yes it doesn't stay in the pinched postion it springs right back into place. I didn't ask my vet, I might ask him on my next visit in 2 weeks but he doesn't seem to be... the sharpest tool in the shed, so we'll see what he says lol

Oh really?! Thank you so much! Such a relief to hear in case he always has this at least I know he's not the only dog in the world lol

dogs skin is not like ours. You should be able to pull it up into a tent. That is where vets give them sub Q injections like vaccines. Dogs have about have the number of skin layers that people have, but their skin is tougher.
