| Does anyone know I noticed the last few days Sami's ears are pulled all the way back, like he is afraid or something Is this normal?? could he be low on sugar or is he out of that danger zone? he is 11 mo now and it worries me that he is holding his ears like this! He looks like he is afraid or sick?? |

| I dont know why he is holding his ears back. Is there a chance he has a ear infection? If it were hypoglycemia he would be shaky and unsteady. Good luck if it keeps up you might wanna have a vet take a look at him.

| Rowdy pulls his ears all the way back flat too - he has always done it though, it's not a new thing (he's 9 mo old). He does it when he sits on your lap and looks right up at you - so I don't think it is because he is scared - he certainly is not scared of us. He does it when he is scared too - also when he is exicted, e.g, meeting a new person or new dog. I do notice he does it more when he doesn't feel good - so perhaps that is what is up with your baby. I know it LOOKS like they are scared when they do it, but I know that Rowdy does it alot when he is not scared.

| Yes, as chachi says, could it be an ear infection? Try smelling Sami's ears, if they smell foul, he may have one. A simple trip to the vet should solve the problem, they have some great medicine for it that treats it rather fast. I haven't heard ears pulled all the way back being a problem. Has Sami been scared of anything lately which would cause him to pull his ears back? |
