Darwin follows me, stares at me then the bathtub, then at me, then at the tub...then at me, then the tub....it's his way of saying "I want a bath woman!" LOL. He loves his baths.

Elvis can be asleep and he will wake up and run down the hall after me and lay on the bathroom floor just to supervise so I don't fall in....he also makes something similar to a "chirp" sound...

Poor Elvie-roo, (usually in my room) does sometimes gets shut in a room. We shut all door in the house behind ourselves here...

Poor Elvie-roo sometimes isn't as fast getting off a bed in that room as the person going out the door...anyways, he makes a chip sound until he's found...well for a minute at most then he'll bark LOL.

Someone on here said, " I though I would be able to go to the bathroom by myself undisturbed when my children were no longer young, then I got a Yorkie."

Bevo seems to think it's time to play fetch when I go to the bathroom! I guess he thinks I sit there because I'm bored!

LOL!! That is so funny! I started cracking up when I read your post! Mine follows me everywhere. I love it. He watches me do the dishes, laundry, exercise... everything. Sometimes when I'm doing my own thing when the music is on he will start rolling all over the floor like he's so excited... They are too cute!

I just gave up on shutting the bathroom door if no gusts are over here too

Princess has "taught" me to leave the door to the bathroom & bedroom open or else!! since it's just me and my daughter it's no biggie.
when i'm on the toilet she'll either try to get some tub water, bring me a toy & demand that i play or even jump on my lap! sometimes she'll jump up quick then onto the counter! (she learned that because if the lid was down she'd use that...well one time it wasn't, she jumped up, went in, scrambled then ran in the l.r. soaking me!

Charlie bites my toes while I am working.. LoL.. But it's not funny when I'm on the phone with customers, because I cannot really do anything about it.... I've learned to keep tennis shoes on while I work... No sandles! No fun when they are biting your toes and it hurts but you have to wait until after the call to stop it. I push him away with my feet, then he thinks its a game!

This is a funny thread, and waaaaaaay more info, than we really need lol... However, mine follow me to every room, too! Sometimes I have to close myself in the bathroom, when I'm on the phone to a client, because they will all start barking, running and playing and I can't hear what the other person is saying, not to mention, it's probably annoying to the cient!...As soon as I hang up, they stop ...Also, when out of the shower Apple thinks it's her job to grab the towel, and try to run away w/it...They are so naughty, but so much fun

My biggest fear is him barking! It is mandatory that I have a quiet backround.

So far it's been ok!

I know some people think it’s annoying but I find it cute and amusing…

I guess they do it because they literally can’t stand to be away from us for one minute!

Tibbe follows me throughout the house, including the restroom, most times and should I tary in any other room, he also chrips at me as a reminder that we should get back to the den/kitchen area which is where he much prefers to spend his day with all his creature comforts - his big window, his special couch pillow, his fuzzy bed, his food, water, toys, chew toys, outdoor access. He considers that area to be his "headquarters" I guess! Other times, he just mellows out on the den couch and lets me do my thing wherever I am in the house but if stay too long, Tibbe is there standing in the door or sitting down beside me and chirping. If I am busy and tell him, "Uh on", he snorts and goes on his way. He sure does consider himself to be the keeper of the daily schedule in our house.

Trixie will chirp if she wants my attention....especially if I have been at the computer (YT?) for too long

She also comes into the bathroom with me and has since she has been out of her expen. She waits patiently, but does stare at the drawer that holds her toothbrush and toothpast till I get them out and do her teeth.
One bathroom habit she has is that when I turn on the water in my upstairs shower to bathe, she barks and then when I go to get in she will jump on me and nip at my ankles to keep me out of the shower. We have a full length glass shower doors so it's not as if she can't see me

. She also barks at the hairdryer till I give her a little "blow dry"...then she leaves

They are definitely quirky

All four of mine follow me into the bathroom. I am no longer allowed to go alone. If I close the door, they will sit at it and scratch.
