| Concerned about Kayla I have posted on here before about how Kayla hyperventilates when she rides in the car. I say that praying its not CT. We have asked the vet because it takes her almost an hr. or more to settled down when we come home from the vets or anywhere. She said she needed to lose some weight, which I agree but I think its more than just the weight. Yesterday we took her in for the tech to cut her toenails and everyone in the waiting room was staring. I told them, and this is with a calming pill. Then, today we went out to eat with friends after church and went to Walmart to pick up a couple of things and when we got home, she was so excited we went through the whole thing again. First time she has ever done this with us coming home. She finally just layed down and was still breathing real heavy. It had to be more than an hour before she even half way got back to normal. I don't know whether to try to take her out alittle at a time or what. I'm afraid she is going to have a heartattack, the way she acts and sounds. Has anyone ever experienced this? Its like she only wants to stay home and us with her. I hope we don't start going through this everytime we go somewhere????? |

| My Molly shakes ALOT when we bring her for a ride. But she also shakes and cries when we get ready to leave her at home. I to worry it is stressing her out too much. So I kind of know how you feel. I am hoping as warmer weather approaches I can bring her for some short rides to get her used to riding, and her fear will subside. Good luck with Kayla |

| Geez, could it be some underlying medical issue? An hour to struggle with breathing hard is quite a long time. Has she had any indepth testing done to determine what it is? I hope others more experienced & knowledgeable can give some direction & advise. Praying you get some answers to help your little one. I know that has to be so scary for her, but also for you too. Please keep up posted to let us know how she is doing.

| All of her welliness check-ups have turned out fine. No problems, except like I said, the vet wanted her to lose alittle weight. I have never seen one get that upset over riding in a car. All of our others love to ride and go places. |

| I see. I hope you can find a happy medium and she will learn to accept riding and eventually enjoy it. Keeping my fingers crossed it will all work out. Good luck.

| If it isn't a medical issue, I wonder if Rescue Remedy would help her relax? It's all natural. Rescue Remedy
