| more eye boogies than normal... hey everyone. I know this isn't a big deal at all... but you know, I'm protective of my baby! This morning I noticed she had more eye goop than normal. It wasn't just in the corner, but a little along her bottom lid. I'm thinking maybe just the change in temp. (finally getting chilly here) is what did it. Any ideas? Also, Maggie hasn't had a bow or clip in her hair for about 2 days. She is ALWAYS scratching the top of her head. Even when I touch it she kinda moves it sideways so I'll scratch. No signs of fleas or anything. Dry skin? Anyone? I just like to know whats going on. If it's a human medical condition I usually have it under control...but it scares me when it's my little baby!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | What kind of shampoo are you using ? Are you rinsing her really well ? Are you using any Leave in sprays on her ? There is so many things that can cause itching and eye watering - it's hard to pin down - have you changed ANYTHING in her diet or bath ? What about perfume on you maybe ? I had to spray mine on the back of my neck because I noticed it made mine sneeze when Chanel was a baby...Body lotion ? lol - I can go on and on - lots of things can make their little eyes water...Allergies to grass or something in the house also can do this

| lol- thanks Villette. That's the thing... She went to the groomers over a week ago and I haven't had time to give her a bath since. No change in lotions, perfumes, or anything of that manner. Food either! So, I'm not sure what's going on...hopefully nothing!

| Because you haven't changed anything, I think it's the change in weather. Keep us posted.

I would give her a bath with what you normally use and see if it helps - also - the Eye drops that we can buy for ourselves called 'REAL TEARS' was told to me by my vet as something we can also use on our pets...without getting a prescription eye drop - that may be worth checking into also ? | |

| Simon has that every once in awhile and I took him to the vet (becuase I always take him to the vet) and it turned out to be allergies! Now that it's getting colder and dryer I have to put drops in his eyes (that's fun). Tell Maggie that Simon says she looks beautiful even with eye boogies |

| I was thinking that too Villette. It's just that it only happened this morning... a week or so later. Strange. I'll have to try giving her a bath and checking out those eye drops. Simon, this is Maggie, Thank you for the compliment! I think you're cute too. I've been bored with mama lately... I wish you could come play ball!
