| ![]() Hello I have had my Chica 6 days now and im all over the place on the training.. I have a crate she sleeps in at night I tried pads for the first 4 days had a bit of an issue with them dont understand how in the world a 2lb pup can pee on them walk off and pee on the floor 5 mins later. and Im watching to make sure she goes on the pads.. so plan B im getting the (northstate superyard xt) 2 marro but I have to buy a rubber floor to go under it because I have carpet thur the house.. So I guess im wondering how it should be laid out for her to make her and my life easier.. and should I go in there to have play time with her or bring them out.. Im confussed can anyone help?? ![]() |

| ![]() We have had our pip for a week now. I take him outside every 1-2 hours, and today, he had not gone inside once! He has pee pads in his X-Pen but is going outside, and I praise the heck out of him when he goes. They have tiny Bladders.....praise. |

YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() My Male was a lot easier to Potty Train than my new Female. I have the Temp-Potty Paper very near the outside door, and I let them both out very frequently (max 2 hr). Yes, she has had accidents on the Linoleum and Carpet, and after it's cleaned up, I use a Scent Neutralizer to keep her from returning to that spot. Though this appears to work, since I haven't caught her returning to a previous location, I still am unsure of the effectiveness of that Neutralization. Something you might try though. Have a good Day ! ![]() S.W.

| ![]() You have to be very diligent with pottying training I would suggest trying to figure out what her signs are for pottying. Once you see her even coming close to doing it, say something to get her attention and then pick her up and put on pad. Use a phrase while she is peeing or pooinrg. Use this phrase ONLY when she s doing it on the pad. praise or treat once she's gone. Really play up the positive and don't make a fuss at the negativedve at all. The key is patience, patience and more patience. Remember, theyo only know to pee or poo whenever, wherever. It will click at some point and you will be able to see her pride once she does. Mine got so smart about it that once they peed, they would run over for their treat, go back and poo and then come back for their second treat. Lol I had their crate, food, water and potty pad in their ex pen. You can play inside the pen or out. It will give her a good sense of the pen if you go in there with her. As for a rubber floor, you can use a shower curtain liner from the dollar store. Good luck!
