You have to be very diligent with pottying training I would suggest trying to figure out what her signs are for pottying. Once you see her even coming close to doing it, say something to get her attention and then pick her up and put on pad. Use a phrase while she is peeing or pooinrg. Use this phrase ONLY when she s doing it on the pad. praise or treat once she's gone. Really play up the positive and don't make a fuss at the negativedve at all.
The key is patience, patience and more patience. Remember, theyo only know to pee or poo whenever, wherever. It will click at some point and you will be able to see her pride once she does.
Mine got so smart about it that once they peed, they would run over for their treat, go back and poo and then come back for their second treat. Lol
I had their crate, food, water and potty pad in their ex pen. You can play inside the pen or out. It will give her a good sense of the pen if you go in there with her.
As for a rubber floor, you can use a shower curtain liner from the dollar store.
Good luck! |
