| When our little shih tzu, Cassie, started loosing her hearing Adie started going to her and waking her up when I hollered "outside" or "last call." Now that Cassie has lost most of her vision Adie has started walking beside her all the way to the door bumping her into the right direction if she heads in the wrong direction or goes off course. |

| BY (before yorkies) we had a Bichon, he passed at 17 1/2. When we first got him as a little puppy we newspaper trained him-gradually moving the newspaper to the door, then to outside. One day my oldest daughter grabbed the daily newspaper off the pouch, came in and sat down on the floor to read it-well I guess you know what happened next. This is also the dog that when I was running late one day to pick up the kids from school that I just dropped the groceries inside the kitchen door and came back to find he had eaten a dozen apple cider doughnuts-that was fun to clean up, in more ways than one.

LOL, So nice of you to mention that! I should have submitted that photo for the calendar! But I was too late. ![]() My other two are just as sweet if not as bright. Skeeter likes told my finger in his mouth as he lays in my arms like a baby and takes a nap. Gracie likes to go outside and stalk nightcrawlers. | |
