| What am I missing? (An Awesome Survey) Hey guys! It's only five days until I pick up the badass Miss Noli, and I've bought EVERYTHING I need for her. Because I'm Mary Poppins, yo, absolutely perfect in every way. .... OR AM I??? Am I just a snot-nosed brat, cocky, full of piss and vinegar? Then put me in my place. What did I forget? What items did you have to run out and grab at 2am? What did you end up needing that you NEEEEEEEEEEVER thought you would need? Your answers and advice are appreciated. But because I'm young and foolish, they'll probably go ignored or ridiculed (I still point and laugh whenever someone tells me to drink my milk).

| Interesting.... I can't think of anything off the top of my head, however Nutrical should probably be first on your list. How old is Miss Noli?

| I think I remember you saying you were getting your pup young? (I got my ZoE at 6 weeks) Nutri-cal can be bought at petsmart or petco or prolly anyother pet store. Stress from going to new place, over playing, not eating adequately & often, can cause young pups sugar levels to drop dramatically and is very dangerous. Nutri-cal quickly brings there sugar back up and should be administered if you see signs of hypogylcemia in your pup.

Nutrical is a great way to keep your pups suger up if they are not eating or if they have been playing hard. In our case Nutrical kept Gatsby alive when he needed a transfusion and the vet misdiagnosed him I believe technically it is a high calorie supplement Tomlyn Products Nutri - Cal 4.25oz (Tube) - DTM06786

| I hear ya...all I read was negative comments about getting my pup so young... But, she's a healthy, almost 10 week old pup now & doing wonderfully and has consistently used her potty pads since 8 weeks old I do hear many people with new pups complain about them not eating well. Maybe have some fresh chicken in that you could boil up if you run into a problem the first few days. Hopefully the breeder will give you some of the food that your pup has been eating so it's familiar to her. My breeder did this, but ZoE still wouldn't eat it, so I bought her some Royal Canin Mini Baby dog food as our Vet's recommendation, and she loved that.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Petsmart doesn't carry Nutrical anymore. They carry the GNC brand and it goes by the name of Ultra Mega High Calorie Booster. GNC Ultra Mega High Calorie Booster for Puppies - Health Care - Dog - PetSmart Because of her age, I would also recommend having a can of goats milk (can be found in the baking aisle of Wal Mart), karo syrup and a feeding syringe handy (just in case you need to supplement). Better safe than sorry. Pee pads- take what ever you think you are going to need and double it. Nothing worse than running out in the middle of the night. A soft, break away collar with a bell (like the kind kittens wear). If she's out of your sight and you don't hear the bell, you can pretty much guarantee she's getting in to something she shouldn't.

| For a pup that young I would recommend getting a heated bed from somewhere like petsmart. Also, they make these great heartbeat pillows. It will help this little one transition better. Do you already have an x pen? If not, I'd get that too. I haven't read your other posts, so I don't know the full story. Can I ask why you are getting the pup so young if you feel it is not best? Is the breeder forcing you? Not looking for an argument, just genuinely curious. Def get the nautical and schedule the first vet exam asap. Best of luck to you. I hope your little one does great!

| Are you crate training him? We wound up getting a water bottle because he kept spilling on him. Eventually we found the bowls that screw on to the side of the crate which work great as well |
