| I have no idea what my new little rescue is! I just got my new baby on Saturday. I found an ad in the paper from someone saying they couldn't afford to take care of her anymore and since I have wanted a yorkie forever, I decided to get her. I am suspecting now that the person I got her from was a dog flipper since I cant get a hold of them. She told me she had her vet records but couldn't find them. I kind of knew then that this lady was full of it but I saw this dog and I felt so bad for her that I wasn't leaving without her. The lady I got her from told me she was a purebred yorkie and was 2. I took my new baby (Daisy) to the vet yesterday and they have no idea what she is but they think she is about 4. I don't regret getting her at all because she is a total love bug, I would just love to know what she is! When I got her, she was in horrible shape and I could tell right away she wasn't being taken care of. Her fur was SO MATTED and SO HUNGRY!! I gave her a bath and spent all day Sunday brushing her (she is going to the groomer tomorrow). As a result of me getting all the mats out, her hair is a giant frizz ball. She is tiny...6lbs but she has long legs. She has blue hair in the back..white and tan in the front and her ears are floppy. What do you think she could be? |

| Looks yorkish to me.. and as long as she is loved it doesn't really matter. My seller didn't have the "papers" either and my baby is Yorkie all over. I don't give a hoot, I love him to pieces. |

| Bless your heart for taking in this little one. She looks Yorkie like to me also. I watched and took care of a Yorkie-Silkie mix for a little while and she looked similar to your new baby. Congratulations!! Welcome to YT! |

| When I saw the ad, they wanted a re-homing fee of 75.00- just to make sure whoever got her was serious. When we got there and I saw her, the lady suddenly wanted 200 since she "found" her bed, toys, a few clothes, brush, leash and shampoo/conditioner. At that point, I had a feeling this baby was in trouble because she was shaking and so dirty so we paid it. I would have paid anything to save her though. It was worth it. She is a sweetheart and at least now she has a nice house and a family who loves her |

| Congratulations. Looks Yorkie-ish to me. But honestly, does it really matter? She's precious and really needed a good loving home. Looks like she's found one. When we adopted Buddy, we had no idea if he was full blooded or not. Didn't matter then and doesn't matter now. He's part of the family. I'll bet she made herself at home Saturday and each day she has taken over more and more. By the end of the week, you'll be dressing her in sweaters (ugh), and showing her off to everyone! Thanks for the rescue! |

| Looks like a Yorkie to me, she just has (non-standard) floppy ears. My two have floppy ears, too.

| I think she's a.........DORABLE! My daughter wishes our yorkie's ears had stayed floppy, and I agree that they look so cute that way. Enjoy her! (And she looks so stylish in her new colorful sweater)

| She's all Yorkie and a very pretty one too!! If that owner had her listed in any ad for $75.00, then that is what I would have told her I would pay, and she can keep the bed and toys!!! I'm happy you are giving this precious little soul a loving home. I'd also make sure the groomer takes her soon as you get there, and you stay to watch. This will be much easier on Daisy. At this time leaving her there would be traumatic for her since she's already had a big change in her life.
