| ![]() for sure you have to keep an eye out for how much they are eating and drinking. I brought my rescue home friday afternoon...and she was not eating we planned on getting her to the vet last week but weather held us back on that and she's going in wed for a wellness check and if all works out she will be scheduled to be spayed. my daughters friends both vet techs were here saturday (the day after she came home) and she ate a treat but I was still beside myself in a fit about lack of food eating with her only being 3.8lbs. they checked her out and assured me she was fine...god bless their souls they put up with me because I'm creative and could sure show them how to make valentines for dogs deserve better. Sunday morning...off I went got a nutrical and two cans of natural balance moist...I put that natural balance down and that little baby ate it so fast I thought she was going to choke. She's doing better now and gets excited about feeding time though i will be depending on my vet to help me with amounts to give her and all of that stuff and we will talk about my bad parenting skills for sure..because she wants no part of the dry version of dog food. Its just so scary how fast they can go down from low sugar and I myself have hypoglycemia so I for sure know eating is important to keep that in check. |

| ![]() It is heart breaking and you are so right. I sit here and type with my little rescue that won't be bred to death anymore (be prepared for my panic mom post when she gets spayed bloodwork test for that wed to see if all is well) I pulled this dog myself because she obviously would make no money for them with a csection required on her last litter. Those types of mass breed like this see nothing but $$$$ This dog has been roughly handled and all she wants is love....how forgiving is that? she fears hands but comes and just wants a cuddle but is afraid at the same time but she's slowly learning to trust me more...not 100 percent because my guess people talked to hear sweet before and let her down. This is the moms of these poor sick puppies they suffer for the sake of the mighty $$ the highlight of my day today Savannah woke up when I lifted my duvet wondering where she was...came running out and started jumping all over the bed and flopped over making this thud sound ...rub my belly mom its going to be a long time for this little girl to heal from past things but she's coming along and learning what life is about without a cage |

| ![]() I'm sorry, but someone has to be a complete idiot to buy from a website like Natalies yorkies and not KNOW they are buying from a puppymill! For pete's sake she has 31 bitches on the website and at least 10 males, more if you count the puppies listed as her males too. Not one is a champion. And they are outraged when they get sick puppies? Really?

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | ![]() To the OP, why do you think your puppy is dying? Sure worms and low blood sugar are not good but they can be treated! what else was your vet worried about? praying the little pup is well soon.

| ![]() I cant believe someone is saying Natalie breeds to standard. Her wholle program is about breeding the tiniest yorkie and asking the highest price possible. There is no reason for anyone to object to that info Natalie herself has disdcussed it on here and justified it

| ![]() Yes, Natalie does breed some Yorkies to standard. She also has some well bred dogs. The female I brought from her weighed 6.5 pounds at maturity and pointed some in the show ring before her handler dropped her while grooming and broke her leg. I did let Natalie know that I was looking for a female will within the standard that I could show. |

As I understand what Natalie was doing, was taking the smaller of the healthiest pups in a litter (not the runts) and over the years, breeding them to produce smaller than Standard Yorkies, and as they were not the runts of the litters, able to maintain healthy stock, and gradually develop a true, healthy Tiny sized line of Yorkies. She told me she never bred females under 3 pounds, and always bred them to smaller males to produce smaller puppies, keeping the females out of danger of having too large a pup to deliver. Personally, if one is going to breed for tinies, her method would be the way to do that. What I don't understand, are breeders that use larger than Standard females, to produce larger litters, and breed them to Standard but small males, which will produce dogs that are within the Standard for the first 1-3 years of their lives, but then grow beyond the Standard once they fully mature. And I don't understand how member(s) who have openly sought out a Tiny for purchase for whatever reason, can come on here and criticize what Natalie was doing. Sorry, I really don't 'get' it. And I'll say it now, not every dog from any breeder is going to be healthy. No matter how careful a breeder is, eventually something will show up. All that means is that Bitch 'A' cannot be bred with Sire 'B'. It does not mean the breeder is bad. A bad Breeder is one who will continue to breed Bitch 'A' with Sire 'B', knowing that this combination has produced problem pups in the past. JMHO. What do I know ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
