| Um, the Airedale? Really? They said one thing that really surprised me. They pointed out 4 breeds that were used in the development of the Yorkshire Terrier. The first three -- Clydesdale, Paisley, and Skye --- I have always heard were Yorkie ancestors. But the last one -- the Airedale -- shocked me. I have never heard that before. Has anyone else ever heard that?

| Being second most popular is not really a good thing beause they will be in more demand driving up prices and even more over breeding from BYB. Increase thieft. Thes things already exist but it will become more of a problem. |

| yup. as much as we all love the breed it's kinda a double edged sword. yay that they are liked but yikes that the whole country demands such a beautiful little dog and the commercial breeders will be overflowing with them to supply the market demand which is very very sad because then they end up in the wrong hands and shelters and rescues become full of them |
