| I think it's a great idea!!! I don't know any cons since my two sleep with me every night. I have a high bed and pet steps for them, but they never go down until I tell them it's ok.

| Omg , that is awesome. So cute. The one and only thing i would worry about is if they would jump out over that one open end. Maybe you could put some of those little pet stairs on that end just in case... |

| To the original poster, I LOVE the bassinette idea!!! If it works for you and the girls, it works!!!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You need to read up on all the threads about getting a new baby and how it should be 12 weeks old before you get it...reputable breeders wont let one go before 12 weeks so a word of caution is in order here....I certainly do hope you have researched your breeder....and of course, if you mention this to her, she will say it is not true, etc....she has an agenda behind her actions. You would NEVER put a tiny 7 week old baby in anything opened on top...they WILL climb out, jump over, go under, go through, etc....and a fall to the floor from that height..........well, it will all be over but the hole digging.
