Bassinet Advise

I think it's a great idea!!! I don't know any cons since my two sleep with me every night. I have a high bed and pet steps for them, but they never go down until I tell them it's ok.

Hi im new to this site and im getting a yorkie in a few weeks so im need of some formation on a new yorkie and it will only be 7 weeks old and i plan for it to keep in a bassinet beside my bed but how would i know when it has to potty.#I need help

7 weeks is very young...most dont leave momma till they are 12 weeks. you need to read up on all the threads here to be sure your prepared for any emergencies. i wish you luck with your new baby and hope its healthy and all goes well.

thanks but still how would I know when it has to potty she will be pad trained when I get her

Omg , that is awesome.

The one and only thing i would worry about is if they would jump out
over that one open end.
Maybe you could put some of those little pet stairs on that end
just in case...

Mine love their crib/playpen. Lucy will go and cry to be put into it when she is really tired.

Prada slept on her basinette next to my bed until last christmas when I got her and chanel matching pink crates and she loves it too..

You need to read up on all the threads about getting a new baby and how it should be 12 weeks old before you get it...reputable breeders wont let one go before 12 weeks so a word of caution is in order here....I certainly do hope you have researched your breeder....and of course, if you mention this to her, she will say it is not true, etc....she has an agenda behind her actions. You would NEVER put a tiny 7 week old baby in anything opened on top...they WILL climb out, jump over, go under, go through, etc....and a fall to the floor from that height..........well, it will all be over but the hole digging.

since you know alot more and you are more experienced than i am can you help me and my breeder set this as the date for me to get my puppy and i dont know what to do please help me and i have a pic of her but i dont know how to post it

My computer skills are horrific on a good day, so I cant tell you how to start your own thread...maybe someone that knows how to do that will jump in here and help you start your OWN thread....I think they call this "hyjacking someone elses thread" and I dont think they like it!!!
