| go with your head. If the puppy had a cough report it.. maybe someone could get the puppy as a rescue if authorities take it?? So you would be saving it with out supporting puppy mills.. If you go with your heart and buy the puppy... what about the next group, and the group after that??? You can't save them allut by not buying it you are saving future pup if we can put the mills out of buisness. well that is my opinion.. but I am sure you will do what is best

However- don't get your hopes up- most pet stores will keep discounting the pups until they are eventually sold.

Senior Yorkie Talker | If you dont buy it someone else is going too. Im notfor supporting puppy mills at all, but in all reality there going to be around for a long time if not forever. At least this way you know the puppy will have a good home. Idk, it would be too hard to look at the poor puppy, and then walk away knowing you could have "saved" it, gave it a good home Im sure everyone is right in what their saying, but its just so sad. |

| I'd call animal control on them... I would also make the "get it off your hands offer" JUST BE CAREFUL he may counter with, well what can you afford? The only way I'd pay a cent for that puppy is if animal control takes it and puts it in rescue, then you can pay the adoption fee.

| Oy, what a predicament I agree with the other posters who said to call the humane society, since the pup seemed to have a cough. That may be a way to get the pups into rescue - so they are out of the shop, but the owner does not get the financial benefit. Oh, this little guy is soooooo going to be on your mind now |

| I know what everybody else is saying is true, however I have a very soft heart and would probably want to save this puppy. I got Zach from a pet shop but I have the name of the breeders and I've spoken to them. Not a good excuse but when I saw Zach I couldn't get him off my mind. Actually my friend got him for me because of my depression over a big mistake I made involving myself in a puppy scam from Cameroon. I fell right into the scammer arms because of my stupid soft heart and I kept seeing this puppy. Now I realize there was never a puppy. Anyway we went to the pet shop that someone had reccomended and that's when I met Zach and although we shouldn't have bought him we did. It turned out his had kennel cough and was underweight. Now he's my baby boy and I don't know what I would do without him. I doubt if I'll ever do that again, but with my heart you never know. I try to stay away from pet shops that sell dogs or cats and I buy most of my pet supplies on line to keep out of trouble. |
