| I am fuming MAD I recently purchased a stroller for the babies and thought today was the perfect day to go to the trail for a walk. I had both babies strapped in and walking when coming toward us is man with 2 big dogs. One is a pit mix on a leash and other is a boxer NOT leashed! We have a leash ordinance here especially at a city park. The boxer comes running over to us and Max starts barking (I'm sure he felt threatened since he was buckled in) and trying to jump out but since he's strapped in, the stroller tips over on its side. In the midst of me trying to act as a barrier between his dog and mine and yelling at him to get his dog..I'm trying to make sure the babies aren't hurt. Thank goodness my daughter was there to help...I yelled at him "you are supposed to have your dogs on a leash! Its the law!" His response was, "I didn't see your dogs ok? Yours aren't on a leash either!"..OHHH I was fuming! I said "yes, mine are harnessed in!" No apologies...no nothing! He just turned around and started walking the other way. I'm sure he heard me yell out "A**hole!" I am so sick and tired of irresponsible dog owners! Can I not take my babies out anywhere????

| Im sorry that happened to you and the babies! I hope they are okay...i know what you mean about dogs off a leash...i cant even walk my dogs around the neighborhood because i am scared of the ones that are just allowed to walk around free..off leash and no owners anywhere in sight..It is beyond frustrating! I wish people would respect laws! ugggh!

| I am so sorry this happened to you, there seems to be a large part of the population that think laws simply do not apply to them.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Yes, I would have been mad too, because Baxter and Darcy are very scared of dogs bigger than them. Irresponsible pet owners are the reason why we do not have enough places we can take our pets! |

| I know how scary things like that are and am sorry you and the babies had that terrible scare. People do let their dogs off leash simply because they get by with it. I've never seen anyone get in trouble for doing that. Same holds true for dogs in the back of pick up trucks. Here it's against the law, but you see it all the time right in town and police around. We need stricter enforcement for these typs of things. I don't think they should wait till something bad happens to do anything.

| 9-1-1 I am so sorry that happened to you and your babies. OMG!! I hope they, and you are ok. In addition to what you did, I would have called the police. Breaking the law is breaking the law!

| What an A-hole! Glad you and your babies are safe though! Wow! I can't believe the stroller tipped over...Don't get discouraged, definitely still bring your babies out! Don't punish them for stupid people's actions.

| That sort of thing happens here too I always keep a look out for unleashed dogs, I just don't trust any of them when my baby is involved, Hope he heard you calling him a A --h--- although in todays society they're (the humans) likely to turn against you.

| I Really Dont like pits! Out of the Thousands of Dogs i have been around I was Bit By a Pit which hurt pretty bad got me on the butt and the other was a half White Wolf half husky when i was 5 but that was kinda cool because it only bit my hand and i was fine only a small scar cool story. And I don't think pits should be a domesticated dog almost all have really bad territorial problems and anger issues |

| Thank god you are OK and the babies didn't get hurt either. I have had similar experiences with people with big dogs being off leash. It is scary and just terribly rude. We have had some close calls as well, it really makes your adrenalin rush and spoils the whole mood of the walk.

| How horrible! I agree there are so many who consider themselves above the law. I do not understand that. There are ones here in my neighborhood who do the same thing. Beyond infuriating.... Just glad that you and your babies are safe and uninjured. |

| Thanks for letting me vent. I'm sure he heard me call him a you know what and I'm sure the reason he took off so fast is because he knew he was wrong! There was a family that saw what happened and stopped to make sure we were ok. That was really nice of them.

| It amazes me that he and so many others just don't understand the word: apology. I mean, an apology does not excuse him for not leashing his dog, but if he could admit he was wrong, maybe just maybe he would realize he IS wrong and put the beast on a leash! You must have been terrified and poor Max! |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I'm glad you and your babies are ok. I just don't get the mentality of people who think that leash laws don't apply to them.
