Thanks everyone my cousin brought over her baby playpen so im good for a few days tomorrow i will put out the message and see what i can get him to stay in he is a reaaly good climber so it should be fun luckily tomorrow is my day off

depending on how big gatsby is im sure you could find a cardboard box big enough & if not you could check the Dollar Stored near you for any option. or you can borrow money. Just be creative, good luck

I'm so sorry about the crate, but I'm really glad he wasn't in it at the time.

Put his harness and leash on him and let him sleep with you. Just keep him close to you and keep telling him to stay if he tries to get up. That's how I taught my two not to get up and they wait until I am ready to get up and take them outside to "go".

Well last night was terrible he cried and cried all night long until he eventually jumped up high enough to flop over the top but a coworker is loaning me a VERY large travel crate (she used it for her great dane) im going to put a box in the back so he dose not get scared. then resume my search.

Aw, sorry to hear about your dilemma but so glad that Gatsby is okay. Did you think about turning the playpen upside down to enclose him?
