| Owner to be! Hi all! My wife and I are just about to buy our first yorkie, and we are very excited. And also very excited to have found this immense forum of knowledge. Before buying a yorkie we checked her background, and we would like to hear from you if you think the family background of our yorkie to be is any good. What do you think of the following? Mother: JCH Chastity Fortuna Jorikas Father of mother: ICh, MultiChampion Gudyork FOREVER YOUNGFather: Cody Chomustovska Krasa Thanks for any input! |

| I don't know about these bloodlines. Since you are from Norway, do you know of any people that have purchased from these breeders? Maybe you could check with them? Not sure if there is a way to check the parents out on line? So glad your post went through. I hope someone here has the answer to your question. If they don't answer this thread, maybe start a new thread about " How to track the bloodlines on my new puppy." Or something written like that, to attract people who would know how to go about finding out that information. Good Luck.

There are some members here from Finland and Sweden I believe and maybe even Norway, perhaps they might be more familiar with the lines above.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Hi, Sundays are often a little slow her, we have more people posting when they are suppose to be at work! Just want to say welcome, maybe some of our breeders can tell you more about the names. The website you linked looks legitimate to me, and since they listed the pedigree, it sounds like at least they are using good/great dogs in their breeding program and that's always a good sign. I always encourage people to support the best breeders they can find. I know you must be very excited, a yorkie can bring you so much love. Anyways, a big warm welcome!

I have a dog with heavy Durrer lines in it, and I've personally shown with Betty Anne. She is a very well respected breeder here in North America, and as well shows internationally. My dog, and the dogs that I've seen shown of her lines, are of a solid structure, with good color and temperament. Gawd just saw the Moms line. You got Tin whistle in the background Very famous dog

| Seller The breeder is called Fortuna Jorikas, is situated in Slovakia, and her website is here: Fortuna jorikas | * Home * Looks like the famous background shines through to the puppies :-) In the attached picture called "huldra" our puppy is on the right. Cody is the father. |

Adding my welcome! Will be very anxious to see pictures when you do make this yorkie your own. Sounds like you are getting a quality Yorkie. Maybe some of the exhibitor/breeders will know your breeder. I just read on through and saw the picture of your new puppy -- GORGEOUS -- the quality does definitely SHINE through!

| Thank you so much, it's so hard to pick the right pup when you're new to the breed. We are so glad to har that we might be on the right track! We had decided on the dark girl, as the breeder wanted to keep one herself and already have several with dark face. She has now however told us that we can pick whichecer we want :-) btw, the litter is 5 pups, is that good for such a small dog, or is thtis normal or small? In your opinion, what are the most common "faults" according to the breed standard? When we go down to pick out one of these girls, what do you think we should pay special attention to?
