No you can't do anything about it, but it's sad to know that, like with everything else, politics play a major role.

You personally know whether or not your dog has earned it. But in the eyes of everyone else, it is suspect. Handing out championships randomly, cheapens the entire business.

I would not be able to tolerate the politics. I would be angry all the time.

Biting my tongue is one of the biggest thing I am learning I think
I am an outspoken person to begin with and I have had to bite my tongue more since exhibiting then I ever did in my entire life!! but I love showing!!!

I'm outspoken too lol...I, for the most part "don't" bite my tongue LOL..and yes it's gotten me into trouble on more than one occassion LOL...but I've made a resolution to start biting it some so I can stay out of trouble BUT I will still say what I have to when I'm asked no holds barred but only now it will be when it's asked and I reassure those asking if they are really sure they want my opinion LOL!
Politics are hard in anything where judges are involved and the handlers ect and it's not easy to see things go a way it shouldn't but I'm still here after 6 years and still love and have the passion for the breed and the show ring

LOL... but you have been doing it for 6 years and I am just 5 months into it and newbies would get eaten by the wolves in 2 seconds flat if they opened mouth. I play the innocent fawn and lay quiet and it takes every ounce I have to keep mine shut. I also have no patience and my mentor is all over me on that......

Jeanie, I know this has nothing to do with the coat color but looking at some of the posted pic's on this forum of parti's and biewer's I noticed the tails are not docked. Is this pretty much standard ? Sorry to go OT but I was curious....
