we're bully stick fans here. no rawhides have ever entered our home. just not worth the choking/obstruction hazzard when they eat enough bad things for them already just rumaging the outdoors and the floor.

I also asked my vet about raw hides today and she said they are digestible and the only problem with them is that they can get obstructed. I told her I got them Bully Sticks and she said that those are better for them because of what they are made of. She said the Bully Sticks have protein where the raw hides are made from the fat under the skin. I think I will stick with the Bully Sticks and maybe look for a new vet after everything that happened today.

Yes, Rawhide is not good at all. Bully sticks are great though. I've never bought Beef trachea, but the penis and tendons are what I buy.
