I did not name Scooter, the grand children did, they said because of the way he scooted around the house, I added the bug. I just started calling him my little bug so now he has the name Scooter Bug.
I named Sadie Mae. I love the name Sadie and Mae is my Mothers middle name.

My mom named Tristan because she never had a son to name lol.

And I named Lily because I loved that name and knew I wouldn't have a kid for a few years so I went ahead and used the name.

My Cooper got his name from the TV show "Walker Texas Ranger".

We always watched that show and all the re-runs. When Chuck Norris goes back in time to a kid on the reservation. He played the dual part of himself and an old time Ranger named "Hayes Cooper" so that is how he was named Cooper.

We had a Beagle who was named "Daisy Mae" after a Disney character. She was mostly white and brown with a large black spot on her butt In the shape of "Micky Mouse Ears" but my kids didn't want to name her after Minnie Mouse so they picked Daisy. I picked the Mae. LOL

Sadly we lost Daisy last summer. We had to have her put down as she was 18 &1/2 years old and blind and deaf. Her quality of life was not good anymore. Her legs were stiff from arthritis and all those things that happen. I miss her so much. that is why we are going to get another pup. Not to replace her cos that is not possible. but to give Cooper a buddy. He misses her too, She even helped me poty train Coop, because he imitated everything she did.

We have Daisy, Lily, Roxy, and Riley. Not very creative but the names fit them well.

We had the name "Memphis" before we had the puppy. I guess the dog had to fit the name

I have always thought Memphis is a cool name (I know humans have that name too) although I had originally planned for it to be a Mastiff, not a Yorkie

Long story but I'm glad we have the Yorkie. I'd have 10 more if I could.

Couver was named after Vancouver, B.C. because that is where my DH is originally from. He moved from B.C. to Washington, so I thought it would be cool to have a dog named after his hometown.

I was less creative with Khloe's name... I liked the name Chloe, but I wanted it to be a little different and her original owner's name is Kelly, so I added the K to Chloe to make her Khloe
