| Anyone Heard of Texasyorkiebreeders.com? Are they reputable? I'm looking for a Yorkie puppy in the southeast Texas region. |

| The site that you posted is not a breeder but more like a puppy broker. I would steer clear of a place like that and instead look at the YTCA breeder referral website. Please make sure that you do lots of homework while choosing a breeder. Once you do that then it is time to look for a puppy. Welcome to yt

| Thank you very much for your response. Is there a way to find a list of Yorkie Talk breeders in my area? |

| I am quite sure you will get quite a few private messages from people trying to sell you a puppy. Be VERY careful! I would suggest you do lots of research before purchasing a puppy from anyone. A good place to start is the YTCA; but remember even then you should be researching! These links may help you: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/fea...ead-first.html http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/fea...ease-read.html

| I HATE these scum bags! Sorry but it's fitting and polite compared to what they deserve! They also have California Yorkie Breeder and California Designer Breeds...the worst of the worst! If I could shut down one pup mill organization it would be them... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...isgusting.html Not the same but see my comments on them here Don't do it! National puppy mill broker...buying a pup from them isn't saving one its causing a poor pup to stay in a cage and be abused unloved and bred over and over again... Can a mod tag this thread Pup Mill, bad breeder etc please? Last edited by concretegurl; 12-27-2010 at 03:11 AM. |

| If I were you I'd post a thread and ask for breeders in your area to respond openly on the thread (here on YT) and also ask for other TY members to refer you to breeders they know and recommend in your area-in the open public of the thread...keeping things out in the open helps-don't fall for private messages from people on here-not everyone on YT is reputable! Give the thread time to generate responses and keep updating any adoption plans you have on it. Last edited by concretegurl; 12-27-2010 at 03:25 AM. |

| Thank you for your responses. The more I read on Texasyorkiebreeders.com website, I kind of suspected they were not a breeder. I have learned quite a bit in the last few days on this website. I had a Yorkie female(Bitsy Ann) for 16 yrs and she was all I ever wanted(I've had many, many different pets in my life as my Dad is a Vet). I swore I would never have another but I miss the companionship so much. We travel a lot and she was perfect to travel in our motorhome. |
