Puppy scammer on YT....please beware!

And yet another example of why we say that just because a "breeder" is a YT member, they still need to be checked out thoroughly.

So, I take it that the YT user name can't be published until further investigation.

I recently as last week received a PM from a YT member asking me if I was interested in buying a pup as they had two available.......I've saved the PM and reported it to Admin, thinking it was a mass e-mail. He informed me that YT didn't have that type of function for mass e-mail.

Folks, please never use western union to wire your $$$ to a stranger.
They are clever...but always give themselves away by asking you to wire $$.

I love reading these posts where folks mess with thieving slugs.

Good job wasting their time...most of these scammers just use cut and paste responses. This scumbag actually took the time to write back.

Did they also have an appointment at the puppy adoption office to transfer papers to your name

I didn't want to give out the name unless it was OKed by the proper authorities. But they would be pretty easy to figure out since it was in the regional forum last week. They have only been a member of YT for a few weeks.

Good job Jodi, I couldn't believe this breeders adoption form, and of course they didn't mind if you breed the puppies you bought.

I hate to admit, but before I found YT, I got a series of emails from someone like this, my DIL has more brains than me, so she told me that they were a scam, and after I found YT, I found many people here have had the same type of emails. This is just another reason why it's always important to visit the breeders home, if they won't allow you, to see where the puppies are bred, look elsewhere. Just want to thank you for all you do on YT! I didn't see, is this person still a YT member.

Nope, the only info provided was 2 puppies available. I immediately knewit was a scammer, because anyone else in YT would know better than to approach me to sell me pups.

I know what regional forum and from what City......as I've said, not far from mee, but puppy adoption offic to transfer papers.......pleazzzzzzzzzzzz..
