Last week while I was reading posts in the regional forum I saw a new member that answer someone looking for a new puppy. The wording was a little odd and it made me think of the Cameroon puppy scammers that I have received emails from in the past. So I decided to PM her to ask about her puppy.

From this PM she directed me to her email and over the past several days I have been going back and forth with her regarding not one but two puppies she claimed to have.

I'm hoping that there are no other YT members that have been sucked unsuspecting into this puppy scam. I've been saving all of my correspondences with her and would like to share with everyone how this all transpired to use as a learning tool for everyone.

Listen the problem is not the shipping ok, before you get these babies into your home, we would need to process the adoption papers andchange them into your names which i would be using the money i asked for to pursue the process so get back to me with the information and then we could get the money over here and then begin with the transfer of adoption papers into your names ok. then after that you could get here and get your babies home ok I don,t want you to be stressed when you get here because of the puppies lacking complete documents which have not yet been transferred into your names. this will be a problem when you are getting them back home ok

Listen you are not getting what am saying probably because of overexcitement am also very excited about the fact that i have finally found a home for these puppies ok but there is something you would need to understand if you we don,t process the adoption papers then you would have no legal rights on these babies ok so am simply saying you should get the money down here before you come so as to ease things in getting these your babies ok. Please we all excited aboutthese babies but we need to think of a legal point of making thesebabies yours. Because i already choose your home to be the new home for my puppies so i don,t know why you are so much in a hast. they are already your puppies and nothing or nobody is going to change that ok. Well i think the fastest and most reliable way of sending the
money over here is by money transfer and i would like western union. So get back to me for my payment information when you are ready to go and do the western union money transfer ok, i would also like for your daughter to have the puppies before the time you promised her so she would not be disappointed in you ok. To help to save time Megan and I have already hit the road and are driving toward Salinas, CA tonight. We plan on taking turns on the drive and will look for a Western Union on our way. According to the GPS if we keep up our current speed of 95 MPH we should be to you on Christmas Eve! Please understand since your email came so late last night and Megan being so excited about our new found friends we jumped into the car and started driving West. My sister is also coming along since she is hoping to also pick up a puppy or maybe two for herself. I'm so grateful for your generosity that I am also bringing along a 3 lb box of Frango mints from Chicago. They are famous and I am positive that you will love them!

It's morning and we have been driving through that night headed west. Since the weather is so nice we have made great timing and are currently just passing through Omaha, NE! I still haven't seen a Western Union office but hope to find one somewhere along the way today. Could you please give me an exact address so that I could put it into my GPS? Megan is so excited and is using her Christmas money to help pay for the puppies. I told her that she didn't need to do that but she is insisting she would like to help. She is so responsible being a teenager. I am thinking we will be there sometime tomorrow.

What is a documentation office? I've never heard of that before could you please explain. Tiffany, I don't know how you could possibly not think that I am serious about picking up my puppies if I am driving for 2 days across the county with my teenage daughter. I would never disappoint Megan she is such a sweet girl and is so very VERY excited. I just thought of something that I forgot in all of my excitement. My friend lives in South Cali and could run over to your house to drop off the money in about 20 minutes! That way you don't even have to leave to go to Western Union to pick up the funds for payment of those much needed documents from the document office. This is going to work out GREAT! She will be there in 20 minutes! Oh Megan just kissed her new puppie Lena's pictures she is so happy! This is going to be the best Christmas EVER!

My friend is on Main St. looking for your house right now and can't seem to find you. She's knocked on a few doors and they all say that they have never heard of anyone names Tiffany Dimas. So I took the liberty of searching for your friend Maritza Santamaria to see if I could find your address. The only Maritiza Santamaria that I can find is someone in Cameroon. I am sitting here in shock and my daughter is in tear thinking that you are not telling us what really is going on with our puppies. Are you trying to scam us? My friend just flagged down a police officer that was driving by and he also is telling her that we are being taken for a ride and that we should turn around and go back home. Megan is in tears and I hope that what Officer Columbus is telling her is just wrong. It's Christmas and I can't imagine that someone would have this type of evil in their heart to destroy the holiday for a family. Please tell me that this is all a very bad mistake.

I really do not like your tone in your last email message. I have several friends that breed and they have never heard of an adoption registry office in CA or for that fact anywhere else. They told me that there is paperwork that is submitted to the AKC to register a puppy and it need not be done prior to a sale. I think at this point Megan and I will be turning around and going home. My friend spent 3 hours in your neighborhood and never found your house. This is the Christmas season and I would have thought that people would have more love in their hearts toward others. It seems that I have allowed you to ruin my daughter trust in people.

BTW~ I have been scamming you just like you have scammed me for the past 3 days. I knew that you were a scammer when I saw you post on YorkieTalk.com to someone looking for a puppy. I know your Yorkietalk user name and you have been reported and I am planning on exposing you to the entire community of 65,000 people for what you are~a horrible deceitful human being! You suck!

i got one from someone once that wanted to send me puppies because he's a pastor in Africa....and i didn't realize that people scammed so much. granted i would have never done a thing they wanted, but if you're not used to these types of scams I can see where someone might fall for them.
