I suppose one could design their own version of a breeding rights contract, the only ones I've seen are too one sided to me (side for the breeder) to be ethical, thus I wasn't going to get into that. Trucker: I told him to go home (well to his daughter & son-in-laws as he's from the mid west and is visiting for the holidays) and think about it carefully as two pups on the road might be difficult (he owns the business apparently and only drives part of the time) and if he was still interested we could meet again next week, figured I could analyze the situation better (I didn't totally close the door, but I think he saw I had my doubts) We'll see. Thanks Kendra |

I love the fact that they asked if Camaroon is one of our states!!! Unbelievable. There is a special place in HELL for people like this. May they burn burn burn!!! |

Also, I'm thinking a 3.5lb 9wk old puppy ain't gonna stay 'teacup' size for long!!! Jodi, I think you're pretty safe. I think misspelling black magic actually negates the curse. And Megan is double safe, although someone named Morgan may have to watch her back. Remember when someone stole Marcel's picture as their own? Wylie's Mom called them out on that. Very good chance that the 'voodoo woman' copped a YTer's pic. |

I applaud you!! :bravo: You know, I was almost scammed by these people. They are seriously everywhere! Two years ago I started a search for a yorkie puppy and found their ads everywhere. I was unsuspecting at first. In fact, I found so many people "selling yorkies for really cheap" I decided I would take my time and find the perfect puppy. As the search went on I began to find it peculiar that most of the people selling these puppies had really bad English and more than one was from Camaroon. Oh, yeah, and they all had the same format (the questionnaire) in every email, yet they claimed to be different people with different dogs. I caught on and googled cameroon puppy scam and was disappointed but relieved I didn't fall prey! I was thinking it would be awesome to pretend to be interested, tell them you wired the money, and when they go to Western Union they can't get the money. Then say you must have made a mistake but fixed it, luring them there again and wasting their time like they did yours. You know, have them keep going back until they figure out you're scamming them, too. Not sure how Western Union works, so I don't know if this would be possible, but the thought is amusing :D! |
You are just amazing Detective Jodi. ;) |
Thanks for taking the time to expose these people and to help not only those looking for puppies but for your work with rescue, as well. It must have been difficult to keep your cool dealing with these people, especially considering how passionate you are and how much you love these precious babies. Nice job! Merry Christmas and the very best to you, Megan, your babies, and the rest of your family in the coming new year. |
You did a great job with that ok. I couldnt believe what I was reading ok. She was realy falling for you driving all that way ok. You should of just followed her instructions ok..LOL:D In all seriousness...Thats just sick, that people try and scam money from others.
