I thought one of my dogs had gotten lose from the backyard and gotten hit by a car. I know I was taking a risk but I just had to help him. When the police came they called the number on the tags and a few minutes later a lady came running to my door crying.
She told the police that there was a mentally challanged boy living across the street from her and he's broken into homes and took their dogs. Then let them go. Blocks away from where they lived. The police took the lady and the dog to a animal hospital and then went to the address of the boy.
Thats all I know right now I'll post more as I find out.

I'm sure it's nothing that anybody who loves animals would have done. I didn't know it was going to get so involved though. I was just outside fixing my collapsing inflatable Christmas tree and I saw Karen again walking Major. It's really funny because I never saw her around here and all of a sudden I'm seeing her all day. So I invited her in for coffee and Major played in the backyard with my babies. Now you want to hear sad. Karen told me her husband was killed in Iraq last year and her daughter died of Lukemia two years ago. Major is all she has and she would be lost without him. I told her all about YT and how wonderful you people are. She saiid she was thinking about doing a rescue after the holdiays. She wanted to know how hard it was to take care of a Yorkie because she loves Zach. Major loves to play with my dogs and Karen is going to come over often so Major can play in my yard. So I made a new friend and Major made some new friends. I hope Karen gets to rescue a dog because she would make a good mom to a homeless pet, and I hope she joins YT so she can see how great you people really are.

Well this has been one hell of a week so far. After yesterday I thought nothing else strange can happen to me. But No there was more in store. Today my friend and I went shopping at Walgreens. There was a bunch of people standing around this box. Part of me said, just go into the store and mind your own business. The other part of me had to know what was going on. So we went over to see the excitement. Guess what? Somebody had abandoned four puppies. Just left them on the side of the store and took off. Well three of the other people took the puppies and my friend and I ended up with what I think of is a Shih tsu male puppy. I don't know how old he is but he's very young. He must have been weened because he ate the food we gave him and drank water. We named him Oliver. He's really cute a fat little roly poly. We have a vet appointment tomorrow to find out how old he is and if he's a full breed shih tsu. Not that it matters because we love him already. Now we have a full house three girls and two boys. . I'll post photos soon. Boy what a week.
