| ![]() Whoa! I have now-I read it once and completely missed that sentence! Ha ha tho typical BF (I'm so stereotypical) BF gets GF a dog wants to stud him out...ye someone has a LOT of reading to do and the realization you can't (no one can no matter their breeding experience -they can guess nd estimate) tell weather a pup will be of breeding quality until they fully mature and breeding to young can cause many health issues to be passed on, brought out in your dog due to stress and well even death if you over stress a pup too young with mating...does that sound all scared straight? Sorry I had a male I was going to stud out before...he had a health issue that I became aware of when he was almost 3 years old-so literally you need to wait until he is at least 3, again for him to fully mature to be evaluated and to ensure he doesn't carry genetic issues that will develop and come out...read, read, read... |

| ![]() I feed Wellness Super 5 mix for small breed or Wellness Core. My two have done the best on this food. I would really consider neutering him. Not only does it prevent testicular cancer, in my opinion it makes a better "pet". My male would of marked all over my house if I had not done the neuter. Also when potty training a 12 week old, set a schedule and keep to that schedule. Once up in the morning..say 7.00 am outside for pee/poo, then feed breakfast. Outside again for a pee at say 9:00 etc. Everytime he goes outside give him a cookie for a reward. He will get the hang of it pretty quickly. Don't expect to much right away..he is very young. Patience and consistency will be the best advice I could give. Welcome to YT!

| ![]() Mine always had to #2 about 30 minutes after they eat-I kenneled them immediately after eating and then about 20-30 minutes later we went out-and I walked them at first until they figured it out now I just open the door... giving treats is such a great idea! I fed Innova puppy food the brown rice based create-well less piles and have since wanted to go grain free and now feed Taste of the Wild-love the results of it! Pets should be neutered as it does make them better pets...just wait for the next thread about Marking... |

| ![]() I'm not into ordering mass quantities of dog shampoo online either. I use Espree puppy shampoo and the conditioner (which is not called conditioner but something that starts with an "r" I think, but I can't remember it off the top of my head). I get it from Petco. It is working well for us, maybe you could try it? |

2. I use Frontline Plus, FYI if you didn't know it doesn't repel fleas you may see live fleas on your dog, but not for long-it kills them quickly though they will shrivel and die-Dawn dish soap kills them dead immediately. On my vets. recommendation Advantage and it never worked for me. I've heard Revolution works well too but never tried it | |
