| Help! Tucker is not due for his next round of Revloution(for heartworm, fleas, ticks, ear mites, etc...) for another week but I was just brushing him and I found a flea on him..What do I do? He is 15wks old... Oh yeah, if any of you have a Hobby Lobby in your area, check out their build a bear section.. I just bought Tucker a cute creme colored sweater for $2.99. I'll post pictures of him in it later... |

| That's too bad. I would be wondering how good that stuff is if you found a flea. I don't know what you would do in that case. I use advantix and have never found any and we go all over in the grass.

| I would go ahead and put it on. I found a couple of fleas on Jewels I put her advantage on and then they were gone. I didnt keep up on the advantage and let them go for a couple of months without it so I am surprised I didnt find more fleas.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | When using advantix, advantage and revolution, I found that the stuff wasn't as effective going into the 3-4 week range. This last time, I bought Frontline Plus. It cost around 4 dollars more ($14.95) but has worked wonders. It's suppose to last for 3 months...according to the box...but I imagine that after 2 months, I'll go ahead and redose to keep the fleas off of them. Also, they can still get fleas but the fleas will die away and the eggs that hatch won't be able to produce...they'll be sterile till they die.

I use Interceptor only becuase there are a couple of intenstinal worms that it will kill that heartgard doesn't. I have used both. Either of them works very well. I also use Frontline with my Interceptor.
