When using advantix, advantage and revolution, I found that the stuff wasn't as effective going into the 3-4 week range. This last time, I bought Frontline Plus. It cost around 4 dollars more ($14.95) but has worked wonders. It's suppose to last for 3 months...according to the box...but I imagine that after 2 months, I'll go ahead and redose to keep the fleas off of them.
Also, they can still get fleas but the fleas will die away and the eggs that hatch won't be able to produce...they'll be sterile till they die. |
