| YT 2000 Club Member | I loved the video of chloe killing her kibble. Jasmine did this when she was a puppy. She still takes kibble away from her bowl at times to eat it.

| Peek a Boo is a little eating machine. He stands and waits for me to put his food down, then walks around his diner, when he's in position, he looks up at me, and won't eat till I say 'Good Boy, eat your food'. Tinkerbell is great. She's so good with taking her medicine, then she gets right to eating... she's a delicate eater. Sapphire is a busy body, and watches Tink take her meds, and has to lick the syringe afterwards (she's a Junkie). Then she tries to steal Tink's food then Peek's food. She's all around 'in search of' the entire time, till they're done, then she'll settle and eat her food. Infinity waits till everyone else is finished, and preferably have gone out to potty. Then she'll grab a few bites, and runs into the living room to eat them. Then she goes back to her bowl, picks it up and carries it into the living room, and eats it there. About halfway through, she'll stop and go to each bowl and check it for anything left over and will lick each bowl clean, then back into the living room to finish hers. If her bowl moves forward while she's eating, she'll stop after every third bite and grab the bowl with her teeth and pull it back to her feet. Then she'll start to look around, and it hits her that she has to 'go', and she makes a beeline for the door. And if I'm not right there, she pees on the rug! If I make it there in time, she will go outside to potty. She is very fast! I am not.

| Milou is my polite one and eats quietly and with her moth shut. Jean on the other side eats exactly like Chloe in the video. She is 1 and a half year old and she still eats like that. They are also funny when they eat spaggeti. Milou takes one at a time out of the plate to separate it and starts eating it and Jean gets the other side of it like the Lady and the Tramp. Next time we have spaggeti I will try to make a video out of them.

| Dinky burps too! He loves to be fed one kibble at time, and he loves chasing kibble. He's a pretty slow eater. Our last dog was a lab who was a very enthusiastic swallow it all in one gulp kind of eater. Dink's not even close to that. |

| Sophie Kate has a complete lack of eating manners, first she attacks the bowl, sniffs it entirely to make sure there is nothing doesn't approve it and then she takes a piece of kibble in her mouth and runs into the other room and eats it - repeating the process. Also should add there is a good size pile outside her dish that does not get eaten until I attempt to sweep the floor and then all of a sudden its her favorite treat. Don't get me started on how she drinks water, with half her face submerged.

| I don't think polite would describe Gracie's eating habits. She has been a picky eater from the first day I brought her home. I sit on the floor with her and feed her by hand. Well, not really by hand but with a fork or spoon. Don't laugh. The cats want to eat her food so I have to make sure she eats it before they do! |

| Do my Yorkies have good manners at meal time ? My dogs eat in their crates. I have 5 dogs, the 4 Yorkies and Hubby's Lab. They eat different kibble and amounts. No fights or food stealing if they are in their crate. Lily the Lab is a voracious eater and wolfs down her food and licks her bowl shiny clean. But what a mess she makes drinking water. The floor, cabinets, her chin get soaked. It looks like the after effects of a splash ride at Disney World. Ginny Joy is also a piggy girl. Not messy, she eats all the 'good' stuff first, like the green beans, cottage cheese, and real meat, and lastly the expensive 100% nutritionally balanced kibble Then she whines to get out, so she can try to steal from Abba. Because Abba is such a picky little gourmet. He sniffs the aroma first then samples each offering. He won't eat out of a bowl and must have a plate. If Abba could use a fork he would move the food around so each thing was in a stack and not touching the other food. He nibbles a bite of this, a bite of that, then covers his plate with his blanky. (Like it is a linen napkin !) Very neat and tidy. Gracie growls under her breath the whole time she eats, like Raerr, raerr... nobody is getting my stuff. When she is done she barks for us to let her out. She runs to the water bowls and slurps a drink getting her beard wet, then like a cat she combs her face with her paw. Rubin like to play with his kibble, like Ginny he eats what he considers the good stuff first. The left over kibble is tossed around and played with. He buries some under his blanket saving it for a snack. He has only had missed a few meals in his life, like when he was neutered, and had dentals. He hordes and hides food. That is my gang.

| Milo is somewhat indifferent to the whole thing. When I fill his bowl he sniffs it to make sure it is OK, looks at me as to say thanks and may or may not eat right then, He usually comes back to the food later, picks out a couple pieces and puts them on the floor, when done he goes back for more. No mess no fuss. |

| Initially Elvis had to be hand fed to be confident in eating. Now he's a piranha like the other two here thrashing his face in the bowl. Scoobers came with a lot of issues and food aggression was one of them-he is now the one that will wait and take his turn- go figure, total role reversal on the two that came to me with the opposite behaviors. Princess (min schnauzer) ends eat meal with a large pronounced and prolonged burp-every single time! What a lady right? We really worked with the dogs to take food very politely from hand though because we have children who give treats and I will never accept a dog as trained if they jump or snap for food from a hand-that is a very bad behavior. Although I should also say all of mine are very clean eaters they eat out of their bowls and should food hit the ground they seem to look and make sure they are allowed to take it because I really worked on them NOT eating off the floor or ground...of course now that baby has these "puff" (baby food puffed fruits and vegis in grains a starter food for infants and toddlers) I once again have some floor scavengers-there is something about the puffs that is just too yummy tempting for them. Plus baby has discovered the sheer joy of hand feeding dogs who will sit and wag and lick hands and love him so much when he feeds them-so grateful we really working on "take it nice".
