I'm so glad that Hot Rod is OK (and you too!). What a scary experience!! |
Very scary. Glad he's doing well. I would have been a mess too. |
OMGosh, Bo! My heart is still pounding after reading your post. Poor widdle Hot Rod.....and poor you! I've had something similiar happen so I know how terrified you must've been. I'm so happy that he's ok!!! Give him some extra snuggles from me today, okay? Hugs, Bonny |
That had to be horrible! So glad he's okay.... I've been having trouble with mine... they lay under my swivel chair until they hear a noise a go to bark, when they first get up I hear and feel their heads banging into the bottom of the chair! I really have to watch Peek A Boo. He's wise to all our routines so when he knows we're done he tries to get a step ahead of me to get a treat, whether he's on my lap or the table. I think he's become too trusting of me, thinks I won't let him come to harm.... we've had way too many near misses. Can't count the number of times I just grab a fist full of hair to at least soften his landing! |
Glad he's OK. I always worry when Shadow starts that wiggling and pushing off to get down to greet someone! I always tell my granddaughter (she's 8 and has a tiney dog herself) to sqaut and let Shadow go as soon as she starts wiggling. I don't even like her to jump off my bed! Glad it all turned out well. Hugs to everyone. |
Thank goodness he was ok! I know you were probably beside yourself when it happened...but do not beat yourself up. These things do happen to us all. I am just thankful that he is ok, and that you did not have a coronary!;) |
Oh no! How frightening for you and Hot Rod So glad to hear is he OK |
This happened to me before too! I was holding Winnie because the door bell rang and she got crazy on me and fell right out of my arms from 4 ft up. She landed right on her side. She got up and took off towards the door shaking uncontrolably and making a weird noise. I was like so scared but angry as she did this to herself. I checked her out and she was fine. But very scary. |
years ago My uncle had a jack Russell and i was holding it (i was about 11) and he jumped out of my arms and hit his head on the floor and his neck was twisted like he was trying to see behind him without moving his body and he was hacking i was sure he had broken his neck but he straightened it up stopped hacking and ran off to eat more food |
Thanks everyone for all the kind and encouraging words. :) They are such wiggle worms so we need to all be careful hang on to them. I am definitley feeling so blessed that everything turned out okay. Let's all have a wonderful and safe holiday season! :) |
Oh no, I'm just reading this Bo. I know this was so scary. I'm so glad Hot Rod is ok. Pls give him extra HUGS n KISSES from Bella and me.;) |
Wow what a scary experience! So so glad Hot Rod is ok. |
So happy Hot Rod is ok. Boy those Yorkies can wiggle. |
I am so glad your baby is ok. I had a shih tuz pup who climbed the stairs to our second floor and found the opening through the bed room to an outside balcony. I just took my eyes off her and never thought she was big enough to climb the stairs. She saw my husband and jumped off (she was tiny and fit through the rails) and landed on the driveway. My husband started yelling and I could hear her crying.. we drove to the emergency vet faster than I thought possible. She was ok -- I was so thankful - but I felt so guilty!! She passed a few months latter from kidney failure not related to the accident but a birth defect. This has been about 3 years and I still feel sad, I waited 2 years until I adopted my remy :) |
