I don't think that will happen, as Howie is of standard size 6 1/2 pounds. Most people that want a fashion accessory want a purse puppy.

Actually, I'm thrilled that they didn't use a tiny for this movie. Howie is a good healthy sized Yorkie. Not saying anything wrong with tinies, but I know a lot of teenage girls will be influenced by this movie.

Well at least thwe did not choose a 3 pounder for the movie. I do expect it will increase the demand for yorkies in general. Once people see how cute and how smart they are, everyone will want one.

No, I won't be in the credits, his owner/trainer will. I just bred Howie, I don't own him anymore, although I do get to see him and hold him often.

I'm not sure Nancy....I just got a call from his owner, he's coming in on Sunday for another Groom.......she tells me that she's been getting so many calls for him......it appears he's in high demand. And you know how Yorkies are, attention goes to their head.

I'm happy to hear that. Maybe you've helped start a trend BACK to healthy-sized Yorkies.
